DREAM
Disturbed by war imagery, especially a child‘s hollow gaze, I created Dream – a 2D collage animation about Tim, an orphan who turns his home into a rocket to launch fireworks for peace. The project reflects on war trauma through a child’s voice.
I handled all production independently – using Photoshop for asset layering and Procreate Dreams for frame‑by‑frame animation and camera moves. I applied a vintage collage style to contrast despair with hope, and used the rocket and fireworks as symbols of Tim's emotional journey from loss to release.
R: Dream merges retro visuals with a poignant narrative about home and peace. It demonstrates my ability to combine technical animation skills with socially conscious storytelling, making it a strong representative piece in my portfolio.
